Fun upcycled project

Most everyone these days loves a good ole upcycling project. This dresser has been out on the patio for a while just waiting for the right person to come along and to give it a new life. My friend Skyler just moved into her new place and had no furniture. Soooooooooooooo I thought this would be perfect for her. And she was super excited when I told her about it.
She came over, saw it and in that moment know what she wanted to do with it. Moved it to the front of the house and got to work prepping it.

This is Skyler working hard

This upcycled project took about a month. From the cleaning, sanding, drawing and painting. Skyler is an amazing artist.(I will be showing off more of her work soon.)  She drew the picture by hand, then painted it with beautiful bright colors.

Skyler did such an amazing job. I truly can't wait to see what her imagination comes up with next.

As we waited for out time to enter the museum, we decided to walk around a bit. We decided to go in to Vatican City. We noticed that there were large crowds forming. Turns out that on Wednesdays that Pope Francis has a papal audience and gives mass . . We decided that you cant come to Vatican City and not see the Pope if he is having mass. There was a few hours before it stat, so we went to the museum. The last supper painted by Leonardo da Vinci The tombs were just fantastic to see, such great detail, telling a story.
